My guess is totaled. All of the time & energy you have spent getting to know the car and making it your own. Sucks man....

The bright side is a nice shell is still pretty cheap and you have plenty of good parts to move over.

        Sorry for your loss

I totalled TWO cars with far less damage (both frame damage).

What a shame man. Been following your build thread. Yes rain is bitch.

        Glad everyone was okay.

If you have full coverage, make sure you present receipts etc.

Frame damage can be tinkered with but I would honestly pass. Way too many rust free e30s out there in southern cali.

I'll keep my fingers crossed Simon nonetheless.

is it really necessary to make the same dick comment in two different threads?

It blows my mind. When I am driving a friends car, the last thing I am doing is driving fast. I drive other peoples cars with 99999% more care than I do my own car.

I really hope he is picking up the tab for ALL the repairs. Fucking asshole had the nerve to crash your car, then claim he wasn't going fast. You don't just crash into a curb when you are driving normally.

This thread, did you read it?

Even if he was driving fast, he has offered to pay more than enough money to make it right. Doing dumb things is embarrassing, so I can understand not wanting to admit it. That said, he is friend enough to man up and make it right, so how it happened is irrelevant and not for anyone other than 2man to judge.

Well put. I really dislike it when people read a title, headline, or front page, then supply their brash opinion without reading the facts.

My opinion on driving other people's car cautiously and wanting the friend to pay the bill is brash?

No, your opinion that you can judge someone better than the friend who let said person use his car.
