    need to borrow engine hoist

Anybody in the Seattle/Tacoma area have an engine hoist I can borrow for a few days? I would rent one but I am really short on cash with doing this motor swap. Please let me know thanks.

Doing an M50 swap and can't afford to rent the hoist... classic r3v style.

Every so often Harbor Freight has them WITH an engine stand for like $175. I want to pick one up next time, but I have a friend with a hoist that lets me borrow it whenever and for as long as I want.

Yeah I picked up mine during a special there, no stand yet though.

175 bucks is a lot of money for something I will likely only use once. I have been doing a good job budgeting for my motor.

How cheap do you expect to do the whole swap?

At this point I think I can do it for 1500. I paid 750 for the motor, harness and dme. I have been shopping around for good prices on the other stuff but I really won't know how much it cost until I am all done. At most 2k.
