Anybody in the Seattle/Tacoma area have an engine hoist I can borrow for a few days? I would rent one but I am really short on cash with doing this motor swap. Please let me know thanks.

Yeah I picked up mine during a special there, no stand yet though.Originally posted by EurospeedEvery so often Harbor Freight has them WITH an engine stand for like $175. I want to pick one up next time, but I have a friend with a hoist that lets me borrow it whenever and for as long as I want.Comment

175 bucks is a lot of money for something I will likely only use once. I have been doing a good job budgeting for my motor.Originally posted by EurospeedEvery so often Harbor Freight has them WITH an engine stand for like $175. At this point I think I can do it for 1500. I paid 750 for the motor, harness and dme. I have been shopping around for good prices on the other stuff but I really won't know how much it cost until I am all done. At most 2k.Originally posted by DEV0 E30How cheap do you expect to do the whole swap?Comment
