I just wait till the car runs out of oil and fill to the top of the fill hole again.

They seem to be pretty scared of the search function.

my e90 doesn't have a dipstick, its electronic. Should I feed the tube into the dash somewhere?

I just use car ramps with an intermediate ramp so the bumper doesn't smack them. Just use your noggin to what you have lying about that gives you more space to slide a jack under.

chuckled at this.. I think facebook is where all the honda guys go to defend their cars against the world. Always one bloke with the Honda VS Every car manufacturer in the word attitude.

Or drive up on a block like others have said. Depends on how low you are.
Exactly what I do, I use the first method at my house, but If I'm at my Dad's we have ramps so I'll drive up on them. I'm not crazy low though, 4" oil pan clearance on Ground Control's.

One thing about sucking it out from the top is it doesn't allow you to see the underside of the car to inspect for leaks or other issues. To me, an oil change is more than just replacing the oil with new, I also inspect the rest of the car at the same time.

I just drive up on some 2x4s or 2x6s or whatever's available. Only problem is I always forget to do it the first time.
