Anyone recommend a good all in one tool set for patrolling the junkyards

    That's what I went in with today, a 10mm deep socket and ratchet and my leatherman, left the serious hardware in the car.

      After awhile you know what you need and don't need. Those that I rarely use, I left them at home. If you have too much unnecessary tools in your backpack and you're walking the distance like the picknpull in Stockton, it gets tiring after couple hours in the yard. I have never asked anyone to barrow their tools at the junk yard. One time, I forgot my wire cutter at home, so I used a piece of broken headlight glass to cut a set of ellipsoid headlight pigtails out. Also, instead of carrying a long breaker bar, just get an open end metal tube and used it as an extension for your ratchet.
