Did paypal rule against you? Credit card company?

paypal says insufficient evidence. I figured they would not spent the time to look at the evidence. Pending credit card dispute now. I am anticipating the same results. If needed i'm going to start a small claims on this guy.

I was under the assumption the faces are fake. If they are real then oops but if he was advertising "genuine BBS wheels" with a knockoff face then they aren't worth the same and that's not proper advertising

assume I send the wheels back and he signs for them. Theres noway I'm guaranteed the funds will be returned without filing a dispute with my CC. Or am I missing something here. Worst case he gets the wheels and I'm short of funds.

If OP doesn't want to give you a refund, and you lost the PayPal case, I wouldn't take OP's word on refunding.

If he was willing to do that, be could have chosen to do so during the dispute.

You may just need to buy some spacers, and accept this as a learning experience.

He's most likely done with the whole ordeal. And AFAIK once paypal decides something, it's final - you lost the chance to return them when you lost the case. You're best course of action was to have done a "return for refund - item not as described" in the first place. I've never done a charge back on a CC - so I have no clue how that works, if you have to prove that you shipped them back or not.

He already ripped you once... don't send the wheels back and give him an opportunity to do it again

it's a Kenny Powers quote on wheels

IF you do that without a signed agreement saying the seller agreed to refund the purchase upon receiving the items, then you have nothing to stand on in court, so its something I REALLY don't recommend.

If you want to take to small claim, just make sure you have everything on hand to back your argument, actual physical proof, your email conversation may not be enough as it can be used as an argument that you were aware of the seller's lack of knowledge yet still decide to go ahead with the purchase.

Also I would remove the seller's address, the seller can actually sue you for civil liability due to the nature of the post, I'm not a legal professional, these are just inputs from experience.

So the latest is my bank credited the funds back to me and is giving seller 60 days to provide reasons the transaction was valid.

Should I just send the wheels back now? Still havent heard from the seller.

Don't send the wheels back unless your bank tells you to.
