that is REALLY nice. i despise the orange and would choose another wheel, but those are personal choices. well executed indeed.

yeah it's had little/no love, and questionable - or at least very personal - cosmetic choices

you should have seen my 3rd e30 (the M42 vert that wound up 5-lug'd and ITBd) when i got it; the thing was destined for the junkyard.

oh, absolutely. i have always wanted to build a 731 head / eta bottom end M20, and i'm actually a fan of L-Jet over Motronic. it'll be interesting to see how such an engine runs with E85 and some ignition advance.

non-functional AC doesn't bother me in the slightest as it'll be the first thing to get yanked in the name of weight reduction- i mean, it is a convertible- and past that, a couple electrical issues to chase down? nbd.
