With spiders like httrack - you have to set limits to where it will spider off to.

IIRC there are setting you can say "don't branch off more then 2-3 links deep".

Otherwise it will try to index the entire web.

Another way is to save it as a PDF with links. Or even an HTML with pics.

I never got approved apparently - was able to log in. Went ahead and did the Premium Membership (it's only $25 a year - spend that much at lunch.) BAM - instant approval!

      Hooray!

Now if only R3V would do that so we could be rid of Panjo.

well it's not like there were any posts anyway. Seriously there hadn't been a new (significant) thread on there in months.

my login worked but it's extremely slow. That version of PHPbb is old and probably insecure. I just want to get my stuff and never look at it again.

Honestly I'd donate at least $100 a year to help keep r3v afloat and to kick Panjo to the curb.

But I'm glad to see e30tech back up

My browser said that logging in to that website could be insecure so i'm just not going to login. Good to see it up though.

Tech has no Panjo fyi, keep it alive and sell at free will. Kinda a win win

Third. Would definitely pay annually to post here without dealing with Panjo.

Did anyone find out how/why e30tech is back?

Also have there been any further efforts to archive the data?

Pretty sure it came back because Yoshi was attempting to archive the site and host a new version of it somewhere else. Chris awoke from his hibernation, banned Yoshi, and reopened the site.
