Hello, my name is Yaveth. I'm looking for some pointers being that I am new to this forum. I have always come here for helpful information and I'm in need to be pointed in the right direction.

Here goes; I have a 85 325e, it's fully functional. I love how it drives but simply been wanting to do something with it. Considering its my first build, I also have sitting in my driveway a 89 325i. It fires up but does not run how it should. I want to simply know what would be the best route to go with my little eta. I have basically all the parts for a really nice stroked out monster, but I do have my heart set on it. Please, will someone who really has knowledge on these builds please lay some of that this way.

In the future, you can find answers to your questions by using the search function. I suggest looking in the M20 sub-forum in the Technical section. There is a lot of information that will help you decide which one to play with.

In regards to your car situation, I suggest you get the 89 running well. After that, sell it and use that money to build the ETA. If the 89 is trashed and too far gone, you can make good money parting it out and use a lot of parts to build a proper stroker. Heres a good place to start
