    Why not rent an E30 and a driver, and just have him hoon you to prom.

            OP, if you want a car for prom you really want this, maybe in Brabus trim:


            Parents will love the lack of interior space, you won't be tempted to do anything macho, the cabin will be so noisy you won't have to have awkward conversations, and basically anywhere you want to go after prom will be just fine with your "date," as "she'll" want to get out ASAP.

            OTOH, if "she" were a keeper "she" would appreciate the humor.
