These components are not all specific to the head, and the cam is different. However, I'm looking for something a bit more specific on the springs.FPR, Valve cover, Cam, valve springs ?Driving is the only way to go faster....Comment

THey only used single valve springs instead of double.Originally posted by modifiede30These components are not all specific to the head, and the cam is different. However, I'm looking for something a bit more specific on the springs.FPR, Valve cover, Cam, valve springs ?Comment

e cam used only part of the journals and the super eta head doesn't have oil passages drilled for the unused journals.

I'm pretty sure they used dual valve springs since the rpms were raised for the eta. I think around 6000rpm the e valve springs will start to float, but i'm not sure...Originally posted by trentTHey only used single valve springs instead of double.Originally posted by modifiede30These components are not all specific to the head, and the cam is different. Actually, the super eta head uses all 7 cam journals and all are drilled. The head castings are identicle to an "i" casting.e cam used only part of the journals and the super eta head doesn't have oil passages drilled for the unused journals.
Trent was the first to really nail the valve spring portion of the question so its his turn. The outer valve springs are actually the same part as an "i" outer valve spring. Its just missing the inner spring. The cam is the only other difference. Although its an eta cam, the journals are all there, and all are drilled for oil.Driving is the only way to go faster....Comment

Your call Jordan, but I think Trent was more accurate given the cam difference was already answered.Nick: Super-Etas have single valve springs.Driving is the only way to go faster....Comment
