I don't actually allow open-top beverages in my car, I don't know about some of you guys.

i dont allow open top beverages either
but in my old jetta p.o.s. i had one of those door hangy things
        and it was horrible

i dont see what the big deal is about him posting the gauges, sure it was OT
but big deal, did it really hurt you that bad that you have to go off on the guy?

Well I think the cup holder looks pretty good. It definately looks much better than that flimsy ass thing bavauto sells that hangs off the side of the center console.

My bmw came with a cup holder, its called a passenger.

Either that or inbetween the seat and door or seat and center console.

I'm thinking a mini fish tank is the way to go with that space.

Hey guys, I'm the guy who builds the cupholder at the beginning of this thread ...

Since the original design, I've moved the cups out .25 inch, now 2 20oz latte cups fit no problem, without any angling. 12oz. pop cans and 20oz. plastic pop bottles worked no problem even in the original design. Now the driver side will even fit a Super Big Gulp.

on my website the picture of the 'standard' model (no lighter at the top of the page on the right) is the new design. Still looks pretty much the same, just a little more clearance.

I know this thing isn't for everyone, it works great for me, and if you want one, I'll build on for you.

Take a look or email me ... www.bmwcupholder.com

I always thought the ones that sat the drink on the floor were pretty damn nice. If and when I ever decide to get one, that is the one I would get.
                      Keep on Keepin' on.

In between e-brake console and passenger seat works pretty well for me.

Why, because he posts completely irrelevant info in threads?
