No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

it wasn't a hit and run. I have their insurance. I figured the internal damage would total it. such a shame as it was a very clean car.

Just because the insurance is going to "total" it doesn't mean you have to junk it.

Just buy it back from the insurance.

Definitely totaled. But it could be a fun car to do something with. Make it in to a truck or rallyx it or something.

Since it is still drive-able i am leaning towards buy back. my concern here is getting it to pass state inspection again in 2019. taking glass half full approach and doing something cool with it would be fun but i do not have the resources or time to build or mod cars right now.

The suspension seems to be ok which is nice, would just need to pull/hammer the body straight and weld up the unibody cracks. it may never the minty fresh again but at least i will still have car.

That will get totalled, but you should fight hard. If its a real IS then you need to go here and find comps

If you can, wash the car before the adjuster comes. They will assign it a different value depending on how they interpret condition.
