Any good shipping company recommendations? Shipping an E30 from Nashville to L.A.

My shipping contact got out of the business and I'm looking for a decent-priced shipper with covered transport. Any success stories you can share? Thanks-

I've used uship.com where truckers will bid on the job. Lowest bid gets the shipment.

And you want the lowest bidder touching your car?

            How about the most reputable?

FWIW, the lowest bidders on uship are typically smaller guys who can afford to keep their rates low. In every experience of mine, they have been much better with timing and communication than the big freight crews. I've done four cars (E30 M3 and three 325iXs) via uship using the lowest bidder (lowest by $3-500+ each time) and all of my experiences have been successful and pleasant. Naturally, if their reviews suck, steer clear.

I did one car from WA to PA via a large volume car hauler and it was a pain to deal with logistically.

However, it sounds like the OP will have a brokerage connection, which is typically much better.
