1972 yellow Maverick Grabber rustbucket with 302.
At the end of its life it reqired a new fuel filter
at every gas fill-up. Gas tank, fuel lines, whole car rust.
Hit a big enough bump and potentially lose 1lb.
It was light and when it had new filter it was pretty fast.
Looked like this with different wheels....
'68 M-B 230 (not a DD) inherited from father (his first car), but still my first car to own
first DD is '88 iX (I'm 17)...god I have to be careful not to be pulled over and not to have people doing work I can do...
still...I got my permit when I was 15 1/2 and have since driven 14 cars on a regular basis since then...just not owned them
My first car was a 78' Mercedes 280TE.
It was a grey market car so it had all the fun German options like adjustable headlights(on the fly) and a higher compression six.
We stroked ot and bored it to 3 litres and it made 280 rwhp. I loved the way the dohc 6 howled at high rpm's.
This pic is of the car we modeled mine after. Mine was exactly the same only silver.
