Just got my car back and I am VERY happy

I pick my 90is up yesterday from my friends shop and boy am I excited I got my headers/straight pipe exhaust on along with my bilstien sports/vogtland springs that they helped me put on....The ride/stance is great and I would assume even a bit better still when the springs settle. The exhaust sounds even better than I had hoped for, nice and deep tone and better throttle response...Its like christmas morning hehe...

a few dirty pics...New reiger lip and fog light are in the works..and shadowline is only 1/2 done until this weekend..

special super aerodynamic duct tape hehe...I've repaired the thing a few times, but a new one is in the works..I just hate it with no lip, so the ghetto one stays on for now.

          Nice!

Car looks great. How much of a drop has occured? Do you anticipate it going lower? Any issues with the lower oil pan clearance?

I ask because I went with the H&R OE sport springs (1.3 front and rear) and the Bilstein sports. Don't have them on yet just wondering if the drop is going to be too much.

OE Sports have almost no drop, its the regular Sports that are a 1.3" drop.

I noticed a pretty nice drop, im loving how the back wheels are inside the fender slightly...I dont think I have any clearance issues, but I'll see when they settle a little more. But I am very satisfied with the vogtlands, I think they are the springs used on the E46m3 and m coupe cup kits.

The muffler is a raceline DTM euro muffler, it was $100 and sounds pretty good for an off-brand muffler.

                      Exhaust sound clip?

Straight dual 2" piping back to the muffler - or what?

Thanks for the help. This learning curve is painful. What are you running?

I dont have anything to record with or I would deff. post a sound clip. Maybe I can on my phone.

Its a y pipe from the headers to a straight 2.5 inch pipe to the muffler.

It sounds very good, I love the rumbling at idle.

Wrong. They drop about an inch...thats a drop.

FL318is you'll get more of a drop since you'll be running the bilstein sport shocks.

I'm running AP springs, I'm dropped somewhere between 2.5-3" in the front and about 2" in the rear.

dude8383, Bilsteins don't lower your car anymore (unless you are running blown shocks), the springs determine the drop.
