Their estimated shipping times are always wrong and they won't leave packages on the porch. How am I ever supposed to get something if I am at work or out of the house?

My diff had said it's been on the FedEx vehicle for delivery for 3 days.

I do alot of work in logistics and my advice is to not use Fed Ex.. We quit using them because they were losing and damaging alot of our computer equipment. UPS is alot "safer", but DHL , though expensive, is the way to go.

I've always been a big fan of UPS. I've used them for countless personal items plus tons of stuff for our business aswell and have had NO issues whatsoever. Plus, they'll leave packages on my porch, lol.

I've had the exact opposite experience. Noting but problems with UPS and always fast delivery and good service from FedEx. UPS even delivered my package to the wrong house once. Took me an extra week just to get it.

As far as tracking goes, I use it as a guideline, but never believe anything it says. I usually have the package in hand before it says it's been delivered.

                          Makes sense.

Plus, how can I pick it up when the tracking says it's been on the truck since Saturday morning?! lol

I work in sales and one of my customers worked for UPS. He personally told me to never ship stuff UPS because they are union based. According to him the workers are very careless with stuff because they knew they weren't gonna get fired anyway. He used to have tons of bad stories for me. I personally have not had a problem with them though. I will continue to use them until they give me a reason not to.

Last Christmas I "won" a 60gb Ipod Video on ebay. It most likely still says it is out for delivery. It was lost.

That means most likely your package fell off the truck. I'd be calling FedEx corporate and getting an actual location on the package. If it is lost you need to get the shipper to start the claim process and refund you the money or send another. I know because I had to wait for PayPal to get around to returning the money as she seller was a jerk.
