        Everyone says that. You will.

Some of you probably know Randy from Toronto, good buddy of mine. He also used to say that he will drive an E30 for the rest of his life, and what an E30 it was....

        Except now he's building a 600rwhp 993 GT2.

I said I would have my M5 forever, no matter what. I went through a living hell for it, doing a full engine rebuild and then some (20 grand all said and done for the upgrades) while in University, having my credit rating dented hard. I said I would have other car sure but I'd always keep this one:

But now I have these two:

I can't see myself getting rid of the truck because it will never break and it is the perfect comfort cruiser. And the E30 is the ideal track toy but I'm never going to say never again. Some day me and my wife will get good enough at the track that the E30 will be too slow and I'll get a (by then cheap) Z06.

So some people are leaving because they never cared for the E30 to begin with, it was just the most BMW they could afford (and now that's an E36) and others are just moving on... change is good.

OK, which OGs are left? UNHCLL has an E30 M3, Ryan Stewart still has his 85e, Stu Mc is still rolling in his S50 swapped 318is, Charlie and Eurospeed are still kicking. There are plenty of others too, that I haven't named.

Crivellone better not sell his E30 before he does the S38 swap. That would be rather anti-climactic.

It's just strange man - i've had my m3 for almost 6 years and i still havn't lost interest in it in the least. It's like the projects never stop, and by the time I'm done new products will be out to replace the ones that I've already modified. To each his own I guess...

I thought I could sell the e30 for a brand new car, but I realized how much I'd miss it. So I'm just adding to the stable, not replacing. More will be revealed in the next week or so.

They can have mine when they pry it from cold, dead hands and replace it with an M Coupe!

I only recently realized the badass-ness of the e30. Still trying to find the right one to start building up.

I'm not OG, but my car is going nowhere ... not after the swap and the work I've done to it. Only thing that is going to replace this car is a '69-'73 rust free 911 RSR clone... and that's a few lengths down the road

Crivvy selling his E30 would be one of the impending signs of the apocalypse. But then again, so would me selling mine.

Like I said, even if I do get something else (which in the future, I want either a Honda S2k or an E46 M3), I will always keep my E30. I'm just like trent in the feeling that I'm just not into much of anything new driving around, and am vastly umimpressed with the quality of most new cars.

e36's are more socially cool, and affordable now.

don't worry, there's still enough reason to drive these solid cars for track/drift so there will be ethusiants. just more of emo forum users might be on bf.c with e36ers now

I can't find one to buy very close to me (Nashville, TN or Paducah, KY) or else I'd love to own one...

I could easily be rocking an e36 m3 but they do nothign for me. I plan on buying and selling a few e30's in the near future but my red one will always be around. If it was to be my dd for ever than i could never keep it but it wont be the only car i own. I really want to have my first car for the rest of my life and i dont see why that cant happen unless I have huge financial disabilites but college will help that.

I'm going to drive it until the body is more West System fiberglass than metal or it hits 250k. At either point I will take the parts I want and just leave it somewhere to decompose.
                              . . .

I sort of feel the same way, even though someone might come and buy my car tomorrow  I'll either sell it or hang onto it and restore it over the next few years after I take a payment on a new car with a warranty.
