    the lil thing thats mounted onto the box? that measures like the barometric pressure or something like that?

    I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

      That's the AFM (Air Flow Meter), it opens and closes with the amount of airflow to tell the ECU how much air is going into the engine, when it doesn't seal like what i believe mine is doing, air will enter the engine through means other than through the AFM. When this happens, the engine leans out. The IACV is the idle air control valve, it's a valve that bypasses the Throttle Body and allows the engine to idle properly. Some cars run better without them, that's why i asked.

            You can buy a new OEM intake tube for likle $15.
