back to the beginning of this thread, I think you were just jelous/scared of his big wing, cause my buddy has an EVO8,. and unfortunately, Not very many E30s will beat it.
Still would NEVER own an EVO, or any mitsubishi for that matter.

oh, and alot of the ricer crap here will beat e30s, I got my ass handed to me on the autobahn in my M3 by a Type R accord a year ago.

When I reminded him that no Corvette ever left the factory with a 5-speed trans, he started stuttering and stammering and mumbling some BS

I'll bite - I can see older (pre-80's maybe??) having a 4 sp, and whatever the last 2 generation or so being a 6 sp, - but there wasn't ever a 5 speed? not even during the late 80's? I'll believe you, just wanted to hear the story.

what i like the most is the so called "ricer fly-by." you know, after you beat them and slow back down they are still on if so they go by you.

couple of weeks ago a crx tried to do that to me, i just dropped it back down into second as he came up, i killed his ricer fly-by

yeah, that doesn't bother me..i think it's just the whole attitude of these young kids that drive their mom's accord with a coffee can for a muffler and plaster it with a bunch of waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswafflesy stickers and call it a performance car that i have a problem with. jesus christ i'm getting old. :-x

Or after you literally leave them as a spec on your rearview, they do the inafamous rice-fly-by once youve shut it down. Man that was when I FIRST got my ///M3. I dont even respond when they fuck with me anymore unless its a particular situation. And surprisingly, lots of times, they challenge me to see my car kick ass and give me a thumbs up. Those are cool. After the meet yesterday, I had these dudes in a modded yaris breaking their necks and looking out the window to peek at my car from all angles. That was kinda cool. :)

i got it once in my e46, i was at the beach and there was a bunch of riced out hondas and vw's (and some nice ass r32 i was drooling over, along with some GLI's)
so i cruise thru just looking at all the cars nothing obnoxious, some puny kid in a neon of course follows me out of the park and gets next to me at a light, all revving his engine and such. im stupid of course and go for it, hit the traction button and launch her from 3000 (hehehe immature) kill him and promptly get pulled over by a cop. turns out hes always sitting there and all the ricers know it.... lil fucker got me good.

wow, this thread FTL.

i have tons of friends who drive "rice-rockets". IE:
94 civic hb with crv motor fully built with turbo = stupid fast.
rsx with a type-S motor and a greddy turbo charger = fast.
Wrx with fully built STI motor = very fast.
300ZXT FULLY BUILT = very very fast.

they all have stickers and wings and all that jazz, and they all race ON THE TRACK.
