My school is like ricer central. Every day when we get out, they race from the stoplights. I love being behind them in the saab and just staying right behind them barley giving it any gas.
I don't mind there cars at all if they are nicely modified, but the people that drive them are all jerks. I complemented a kid on his integra one day (I hadn't seen the lambo doors yet), and he replied with "pfft, you wish you could afford this car". What the hell?

When I bought my m3, I took the badge off immediately to keep idiots from revving on me on street lights. When I drive my eta, I get it all the time from HS kids and trucks on my ass to blind me with there lights. When I had my e36 iS, every freakin day it got attention. Stupid me for having a lowered red car with exhaust, blacked out m3 wheels, and sound system. I think it depends on your own personal driving style and how your car looks. If your car looks nice/fast of course you going to those looks. Its the same as a chick with big boobs wearing a low cut shirt and asking why your staring at them.

I had a yellow mid 70's corvette pull out behind me once - recently restored, looked pretty built up. I was just out for a cruise, going nowhere in particular and pretty much obeying the posted limit. So naturally he comes flying up behind me, but it's a no passing zone as there are two sharp, banked curves coming up that I've been through a billion times. I hold a constant speed through the first, wider corner, and he stays on my ass. the second, much sharper corner I decide to push a bit, so I accelerated as I went around - and I watch in my rear view as the corvette did a 180 into the other lane. I had a good chuckle and continued on my way - pwned by a gray 4 door auto sedan with bottlecaps. :)

I love that feeling, I had that happen to me once, except it was a 540 (looked lowered) trying to follow my Stage4 G60 Corrado on a twisty mtn road. It was entertaining to say the least.

ricers make driving fun, half the time i go out just to race them, theres always a bunch by the pepboys. they usually stare at my car but thats probably because its viper red(orange at night for some reason).

i raced some guy in his mustang boss once at hot august nights, and i smoked him, and at the next light all he could say was "i never said it was fast its just beautiful"

I get so sick and tired of the ricers around here with their bright rattle can paint jobs, coffee can exhaust and giant wing that looks like a handle on the ass end of the car. I even saw one the other day that the wing was made out of 2x4's. Most of the pos ricers around here dont even do much hp gains just all the ebay crap and loud exhaust with an automatic trans. Now thats funny hearing one of them trying to take off fast with an auto trans. I wont even give them the time of day. I dont mind the ones that are tasteful and done right its just the assholes that think they got something when their grandmother gave them her old Accord.
