This new car - the 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II - celebrated its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1990. The 2.5 liter engine of the EVO II, as the car was known for short, developed an output of 235 hp (173 kW) and a torque of 245 Newton meters between 5000/min and 6000/min. The car, weighing some 1300 kilograms, accelerated from standstill to 100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds and reached a top speed of 250 km/h. The sports suspension afforded highly precise handling, being adjustable to three different heights by means of an inconspicuous switch to the left of the steering wheel. Sports seats gave the driver and front passenger firm support while rear passengers were provided with two contoured individual seats.
0-60 in 7.1 seconds sounds pretty crappy for a car that cost 115,000 dm.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

hrmm guess i was picturing the e30 m3's fenders in my head. Which now that i look arent square cutouts either, its the fender flares i was thinking about. Its like it was an afterthought and the designer was like "Lets just BOLT these on, who cares if it matches up with the doors"Comment
-
it looks more like the 190 evo had some panels slapped on it. Litereally. The M3 has actual wide fenders and quarter panels vs. slapped on body kit. 190 e is the og ricer body kit. Again just not befiting of a $100k pricetag.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

the EVO models had massively tubbed fender wells to accommodate the wider wheels and lower suspension. Even the 16v models had rolled fenders beneath the 16v fender flares.Last edited by chuni959; 03-21-2018, 08:59 AM.Comment

You need to do your reasearch son... I know of at least 2 evoII in the states. One is for sale actually. The otehr was owned by a mercedes enthusiast on cape cod that I met through a friend. He let me drive the 190 and i let him drive my e30s52. He sold the car a few months after that and I dont know where I went but i know it is still in the US.e30sport.net

well link to the one FS and i didnt say they dont exist in the states, i just said you hadn't been in one because you didn't strike me as the type of kid who would have affluent enough friends that could import a real EVO II into the states. Now you say it was a friend of a friends... ok, i buy itComment
