Off to Afghanistan...

Well guys, I appreciate all the words of support, but how did it turn into a political discussion? For the record, I never supported the war in Iraq. I thought it was a reckless use of the troops that removed the barrier to Iranian regional dominance. Now we need to worry about Iran, as well.

Anyway, the point of my post is that I will miss my car. I have a PT Cruiser rental for this week and I sure hate it. Driving my car has always been the salve that made the day easier so I will need to live vicariously through you guys while I am away.

Finally, I will feel safer in Afghanistan than commuting the DC beltway everyday. My car will be much better off in the garage over the summer (now that I got all the salt off).
