Remember this was 80s BMW management... when they, you know, recommended you do things like change the oil every once and a while.

Not to be confused with current BMW management... who is working on "Lifetime engine oil" or some bullshit. "Lifetime" of course refers to 50,000 miles, the lifetime of the warranty. The car's lifetime is more like 55,000 miles after that treatment. Fuckers.
