just replace the one rocker.... i've also heard that you damage your rockers more by dogging your motor than by hitting the rev limiter... try idling up your driveway and you will hear what i'm saying... anyways, it's not a bad job.

oh and 10$ says it split on one of those raised numbers... teh racers usually polish those off as they heat and cool differently than the rest of the rocker arm.

sounds like a waste to me. Just replace the rocker. It's your DD for goodness sake, leave it alone...

If you're pulling the head, is it a good idea to replace all the rockers at once?

I feel that it is. I don't want to pull the head every other month! :)

Some may agree, some may not.

That little flower button on your camera? That means "MACRO", and it makes the camera focus on objects closer than it normally would.

                  ;)

Cam + M20 = waste of time and money UNLESS (and this is the conditional part of the statement) you are planning on upping the compression, building it into a stroker, and modifying the intake, fuel injection, and exhaust to match the new cam. Otherwise, you are not going to get the full potential of the cam, and it's still going to be inferior to a motor swap in terms of performance.

Spend the money you save by not buying a high performance cam, and get yourself a decent M50. Theres a complete M50 in an E34 (correct oil pan already as I recall) for $100 out in a salvage yard near my house.

If you're broke or cheap- replace only the broken rocker, otherwise replace all of them. It's not that much $$$$ and you will not have to worry about broken rockers again for a long, long time.

                      Go ahead- someone disagree................... :)
