Why are 318is' so hawt?

Lighter. They were the only one that came to the US without a sunroof.

The engine revs well and makes decent power. For small track racing it would be enough to be competitive.

I believe it was an option on 4 bangers. I always wanted to drive a 318iS to know how it feels. Maybe I'll test drive one for sale here just for shits and giggles.

Also, 318is is only car with factory shadowline.

Pretty funny. I personally don't like 318's (M10 or M42 powered) because they are lacking in many areas and don't have the amenities of the 325e or i. Some don't care and that's fine but to me with prices so close together, it just makes sense to get the 325.

The only thing in a 325is/M3 that I find worthwhile is the cruise control.
I prefer cloth or vinyl seats in an E30.
Good luck finding a 325is in Diamondschwarz. :D

Have fun adjusting your valves.

I'm so dumb...why did I let that 318is out of my grasp so long ago... (fyi - it's the car that Kris' girlfriend, Tara, drives now... )
