now I'm at 185k, with a not so original engine & tranny. tranny has 220k and shifts smooth, engine has about 1700 miles on it now.

My 1990 just rolled 186k on my way home from the DE last weekend. AFAIK, all original engine and tranny. I have most of the service records, and the engine having come to me encased in cosmoline suggests it is the original.

It was happy to be thrashed last weekend - soending most of the time from 4-6500 rpm.

I rolled 180k on my eta DD this last weekend...still going strong. I have 199K on my turbo with a fresh HG and bolts and my 2002 at 292k miles (chassis) on its rebuild...about 20 miles.. These cars never die... I am going to drive my eta into the ground. I won't buy a new DD till it dies.. I maintain everything..so it should be a long long time.
