Here's how I see it man: my car is faster than a lot of others out there, and when I want to hit it, I can. When I need acceleration, I usually get it, and when I need to stop or take a turn at a fast speed I get what I want too. My e30 is extremely fun to drive. And I still hold on to that fact even though I've driven a lot nice cars than mine. Also, other people with cars such as e46 m3's and e39 m5's have driven my car to say "shit! your car is sooooo much fun I love it!"
Have you looked into Volkswagens? A vr6 swapped mk2 GTI will run low 14's with a full interior and a good driver. Mine ran 14.4's all night, and I'm a shitty driver. With cams, some weight reduction, and a good driver 13's are easily within reach.
The only VW I beat on was a vr6 jetta and it was fast but scared the shit outta me in the twisties, hence this thread. I know the e30 is a great handling car from the start, so this is for speed.
Mike, at least you now your role haha but you are becoming less and less of the person that makes retarded ass comments on the board...just look through this thread. Your role, my friend, has been taken over
Eh? So Bentley builds the ultimate auto-x car.. If heavier leans less, that sucker must be on rails.
No but really, I just dont understand your reasoning here..?
I really have no solid or justifiable reasoning. Somewhere around page 3 or 4 I needed a lame excuse as to why our E30's are better than any piece of crap ricer.

i feel slightly sad, knowing that i am no longer the dumbass of r3v.
Chevy just announced they are dropping the vette for this in the american le mans series.
Ya, and I understand the engineers have worked very hard at finding ways to maximize weight for ultimate cornering power and to reduce the dreaded "leaning" condition that was experienced by the lighter and more nimble corvette. The drivers are also working hard on their end...an intensive weight gaining program to further compliment the new heavy chevs handling.
The only thing those dubs ever got me was a flat tire every couple of weeks. And to be honest with you, I wish I could tell some good lies about my non-existant sexual encounters as a result of my car but it seems like the hoes are going for the ricer guys. Their cars tend to lean more.
