Can an E30 be fast?

i have tons of friends with civic/integras and whatnot. a healthy m20b25 can beat most of them, unless they have turbo/engine swaps. but its the same with an e30, if you want power, just do a turbo/engine swap. there is more than enough info out there to figure out which suits you and your budget best. my motor swap is going to be around $6-7K, but some ppl have done it for around $4-5K. depends on motor cost, and how much you want to work on the motor before it goes into your car.

healthy m20b25 will do about +/-15.7 1/4. dunno about 0-60 times.

I would think with a good chip and a 4.10LSD and maybe some weight reduction should get you knocking on the door of 14's. These cars aren't slow, but a "fast" car is all relative. The guy on here with the eta with no front clip just upgraded to an "i" motor car and he thinks it's "fast as fuck". Good luck.

My speedo says about 140ish.

Gets there fairly quick, even on 17s.

I beat up on 4 bangers all day, too.

shit ive heard seen e30s top out at about 140 mine tops out at 123 but thats kuzz the chip i had it up to 130 but that was before my vac leak and until i fix that imma prolly stay at 123 which is just about as fast as im comfortable going i talk in run on sentences because punctiation is overreated so is spelling
