wow man.. that car is mangled! it sounds like you made it out okay considering how bad that wreck must have been!

btw, airbags were definetly standard in years other than '91, I'm pretty sure they are in all cars 89 on.

Standard in MOST cars from 90 on. I've seen some '90 iCs without airbags

hmm it must have been 90 on then. Yeah the '89 ix I test drove didn't have airbags. autotrader doesn't have data on cars earlier than 1990 though :(

heh, i wouldn't be suprised if there's a big difference between hitting the bottom of the tree & going airborn to hit it 1/2 way up ;) not to mention the tree he hit looks like a Birch Tree... which is a Hardwood... the tree you hit was some kind of a pine if i recall correctly... which is a softwood ;)

Drew.... i'm sure by now you've already seen my IM, but i'll wish ya a speedy recovery again anyway   get well soon bro

                    Holy shit

thats a lotta damage. That tree must be made of some hard wood!

I see parts you can get rid of...see if you can buy it back from teh ins co for $500. there's easily $500 worth of stuff there. They'd just take it to a wrecker and get $200 for the metal.

Sorry to hear about that. I too was in an accident last Thurs, but as mine is going to be tied up in some legal action, decided NOT to post anything. I don't suppose it hurts anything to say that it happened though. So Yeah, a tough year so far(2nd time I've been hit in the rear in a year) :(
