Interesting, I've seen the black plastic kamei ones that were in old golfs but they thread on so it might be hard to get it to fit on an e30

i guess you need to decide if you like them. the real thing will cost 3-4x as much. personally, i think the little rounded dtm version looks like a tiny little wart on the side of someone's dick.

The E30 ACS mirrors go for about 1000 euro, from what I have been seeing.

No thanks. That is big coin for a part which I believe takes away an essential look from the car.

Not sure if this counts as "rare" but they are to me :) Hella smoked smileys with HID conversion kit. I got them mounted, but haven't finished wiring them up (screw work).

                    +1

It'll scatter more light up and down rather than side to side. may not affect output too much but it looks goofy now that i realize it.

They aren't DIY smoked, the OP replaced the lenses because of cracking, and liked the horizontal lenses more. I'll probably turn them back.

^^ If they are real Hella smoked, then the low beam lenses have been replaced as well.

I'm not sure tbh. I'm not really worried about it, they light up well, and look great (although the highs are kind of annoying), so I'm not worried.

OEM illuminated "mushroom" or "door" knob. I'm not sure if this is NLA or if the part numbers are just confusing. I've only been able to find the suede, plastic, and one-piece knob/boot versions at online vendors.

But, either way, I'm happy to have found a used one for a good price. I've gotta fix the wiring. And the transparent emblem only came in the dogleg pattern so I'll need to modify the non-transparent "H" pattern emblem.

How's this for rare. Very early model ix kit, with all mounting hardware included. In perfect shape(not kidding)!

And to confirm its rarity, it has those lines that run all the way across. Differentiating it from the regular ix kits
