Hhaa. I first saw those Bilsteins and thought they were ACS. My heart sank a bit. Hartge.... meh. :-)

Would you run them or first get them revalved to original spec?

Got this in the mail today, maybe not as rare as some of the stuff you guys have, but I'm pretty excited. (Also looking for a ix headlight washer tank for my ix)

Mark my words, this will be pretty special over the next decade. I bought the last one BMW had (for surprisingly cheap) and have had a good dozen people looking for them in the last 6 months.

For chump car enduro racing these are awesome and legal (since it's a factor option).

Is it just a stock ix gas tank and filler assembly?

extended range gas tank. Optional for u.s. cars and I believe standard on euro m3's (though I could be wrong).

Its a auxiliary gas tank that mounts in the trunk. I know it came on several euro M3's (don't now if it was optioned or standard) but I am pretty sure it was standard on all South African e30s. I got everything, except for the mounting bolts and gas gauge, but Bavarian Restorations is helping me out with the gas gauge.

The ix tank I was talking about is for the head light washer kit. I already have most of the washer kit, but since my car is an ix it has the washer bottle in the "battery tray" and needs a specific ix headlight washer tank. I thought it was going to be impossible to find, but thats to e30lyf I'm a soon to be proud owner!!!!!

ah I see. I never knew BMW made an auxiliary the the e30. I just planned on buying the Alpina one
