About 5k. Well worth it IMHO. I now have a very reliable car with A/C, great handling and a unique car.

Initial price for the car was low so, it allowed me to do the necessary maintenance and upgrades.

On this current E30, I'd probably estimate about close to $5k. I assume this thread doesn't include the purchase price of the car.

I'd bet that it's over 50-60k at this point.

                15k on the motor
                11.5 to buy the car
                3k for sport evo aero
                1k for srd's
                1k for sport evo wheels...
                2.5k for airbox and maxx
                1k for spa guages
                etc.

I have modified so much shit on this car, I seriously can't remember all that I have done without looking at records.

Spent at least $16K since I bought it last year. With much more yet to do. Still need to get a 2.5L rebuild ($10K), coilovers ($1.5K), respray ($5K), EvoII front and rear bumpers ($2K), Dogleg tranny ($??), Alpha-N and CF airbox ($3K).......and much much more.

                        About 2K on suspension
                        1.5K on wheels and tires
                        1.5K on appearance stuff
                        1K on the interior
                        1K in repairs

                        Had it for 4 years.

Please don't let my fiancee see this thread. And, I keep telling her, "It's only gonna be like 10K." Srsly, I think my adjusted budget plans are closer to 28-30K at projects end. This thread should be renamed "Marrage Ender... *NWS* (Not Wife Safe)"
