How much have you spent on your e30?

I ended up sinking close to 3500 into my car which probably would have been much less knowing now what I should have known then. I was so despirate to get the car on the road that I told the mechanic to fix whatever was needed. He ended up replacing a motor mount, 2 wheel bearings, the thermostat, brakes, and the ECM. Had I known it was relatively easy to fix these things I would have just had him do the motor mount.

Motor/tranny - $7,000
All other misc items ~ $3,000?
minus all parts sold off car ~ $?

All on a car I still haven't been able to drive down the street yet. At least it starts now!

I added up what I have spent going all out on my suspension the past year and with switching over to e30 M3 5 lug using 80% new parts this past weekend. And all I can say is I am feeling sick to my stomach. THANKS for that feeling...

how much were your Ti rods? it's funny because they cost what forged steel was just a few years ago, even with metal prices going up so much. I could have had H beam rods for $100 more than what I paid for used E36 M3 rods. :p
