but i love how powerful the heater is, i just blast it full and sit for a couple mins then its all nice and toasty and I'm not cold anymore, then turn the fan to 2 and give er'.

I would imagine for the ETA, you want to keep the RPMs even lower to start out with.

2.5-3 tops to start.

Damn cold here. I just start the car and let is run while I scrape windows (2mins). After that I drive, also I run the engine below 3000rpm until I am at half on the temp.

Did you import your Alfa Romeo or were they sold in the States during the
90s?

Spiders and 164s were sold in the states until 1995 when Alfa officially left. I work at Centerline Alfa now and I can safely say that Alfa parts sales are stronger than ever though, and Alfa will be making a return for sure, starting with the 8C in early 2008, then introducing the more realistically priced models in the middle to late half of the year. Very excite.

rev limiter is like 4.5k compared to 6k. eh
