So yea, we have all done long high speed pulls on back roads. But the few of us who have had this happen will understand why I say it is one of all of our worst fears!.

Sleepers performance in Ct does sick work saw a mk3 vrt down at waterfest that was putting down 400 to the wheel on what they call a "low boost setting". That guy was very lucky that the cop did not pull him over.

Ive done my share of pulls in my charged bimmer up to bout 120 or so but havent had that happen. I always worry bout it though.

x2 find a new camera guy, that was horrible.

One of the local euro car drives I went to back in Oregon had something like that happen.

We were all charging up to Mary's Peak, on the very twisty highway before you get to the road that leads you up to the peak. At the last corner we are all moving quite well and charging out of the corner onto the straight away. Likely 6-8 cars all pushing WOT... and as we crest over a hill here come 3-4 Sherrifs coming the other way.

DOH.

We all lifted off and came down to speed. All the cops surely knew exactly what was going on. Not one of them hit their brakes.

over by the lax airport their is a long underground sweeper that connects to freeways that is at least 120mph turn that i decided to take @ 115 during my lunch break since there was not traffic. as soon as i exited i say chp parked at the shoulder waiting for speeders. he must have been taking a nap cause i did not see his lights flashed as i downshifted to make it to the offramp. Needless to say i always take that turn at 65 now.
