Which is why I like this over the 5. I dont need flamboyant cars, just nice ones.
taste is subjective, and I can honestly say I really like the 5 series.. this 3 series design just seems like a watered down version of the 5 for the masses. the current E46 looks like a honda! at least the 5 is original (btw I love the 5's tailights, not the 6's or the 7's though).

I think I like bangle designs because the cars are not all just random bubble shapes, like your typical fords and what not. they have harder edges, kinda like our old boxy E30s ;)

Its an improvement over the 5 (imho). The rear section styling isn't too bad although I would like to see a different configuration of the lights. I'm curious to see how the coupe will turn out.

I just got the July R&T and they have an article on the new bmw turbo D. Check it out on page 110. If someone can host it/ resize I will send it, but right now I'm too lazy.

I think it looks awesome. Personally, I don't think any new 3 series will ever beat the E30 - I love the look of the E30, it just is one of a kind, you know?

yea, those are off the X3 - the taillights that is.

Overall, I think it looks real good. Can't wait to see the coupe though.

I think everyone on this e30 board would agree.

                    i think it looks 100x worse than e46's, e36's and e30's

motor choices dont sound half bad though
