What a race! In the middle of the race I was hoping for rain and Pinepig sitting next to me almost shit his pants when it started to rain ...

Massa and Kimi are class act drivers! Great season, great race!

      Good for HAM!

Great race, hopefully next year BMW can pull themselves up some more.

And massa, what a class act!

        Fuck Timo, that is all.

He certainly deviated from Toyota's slogan "Move Forward" with his blatant last turn move to give LH another position. A pretty fucking lousy end of the year if you ask me.

Edit: Father Massa's "oh shit" face was hysterical.

A close fought season. Well done to both Ferrari and Hamilton respectively.

Isn't it amazing how close the last few seasons of F1 have been? The fact that the pinnacle of motorsort can be so close is brilliant imho.

puhleze. why would timo move over for vettel and hamilton in the last corner? he had dry tires on and didn't have the pace. it was a cruel turn of fate and hamilton picked up a position by pure luck, not some vast well timed conspiracy.

no kidding. no one could have organized a more nail biting finish. to think that everything came down to the last corner of the last lap of the last race and was decided by one point is simply amazing. what a season.

You can say that again. It wasn't long after I made that post did the announcement for rain started chiming over the airwaves. I sat there just at a loss for words as I watched it take place.

The end of the race was truly epic. It looked to be all Ferrari's prize until the last turn of the last lap when Glock went wide and Hamilton made his move and sealed the title. I thought for sure it was all going to Ferrari. The suspense had me literally out of my seat - I couldn't sit still as it happened. Damn good finish to a season capped with all kinds of action and drama. Now the hard part comes - waiting until March '09 for Australia :(

Until then, watch for new car development and testing sessions with new faces looking for a seat in F1.

Bullshit, both Glock and Trulli seem to be doing fine for the last five or so laps and then all of sudden (the last lap) he loses grip and conveniently allows LH to slip by. I doubt it was team orders by any means, but I wonder if it was some GP2 loyalty shit that sparked Glock's twitchiness. I don't think it was legit, but whatever.

I was searching for something on YouTube a few minutes ago and found a pretty humorous video of a Ferrari fan upon finding out who the WDC was. Sucks to be him, but it made for some good video.

Honestly all the conspiracy theories are rediculous. If Toyota or Glock wanted Hamilton to win they would have simply come in for intermediates like everyone else and conceded the position that way.

I was pulling for Massa all the way but you can't win them all. No reason to wine about it or come up with conspiracy theories. Keep in mind alot of the drivers hate Hamilton just as much you and i.

TIMO GLOCK YOU SANDBAGGING SON OF A BITCH

i dont know why but i dont like hammilton, he wins too much and i am always drawn to the underdog (see choice of college to left) and i knew felipe had it in the bag on the last lap until glock "lost grip" such shit, theres no way to penalize him by giving him more positions is there?

i still havent seen pics of any 09 cars, maybe i need to look harder, but im anxious to see them with the new aero restrictions

will be sad without f1 to watch, focus all energy on NCSU basketball and football, and LFC Futbol

                              GLOCK WAS ON DRYS!!!!

I dont know where you chumps were coming from. He ran wide because it was raining more than before. Had he not, and had he got the power down 1 sec. before Hamilton got past him, then Massa would be WDC. Thats how it works, heartbreaking for the Tifosi, but thats how it is.

Massa '09 [better driver then Kimi, IMO]

That can be argued, Kimi had plenty of bad luck this season and he was still in the top five for championship points. The guy drinks before a race and still tears it up, I'd say he's damn good.
Masa is also one hell of a driver though, in my opinion he's better than Lewis, but even that I'll begrudgingly admit is debatable.

In the end it doesn't matter, F1 has gotten to be extremely competitive which makes it awesome to watch, it beats the days of a Schumacher parade.
