Watching the race now - it's shaping up to be Lewis' race as far as the Drivers Championship is concerned - just needs to bring the hardware home no worse than 5th. Massa has been driving an impressive race from the start and setting good lap times. The brief rain at the beginning was a nice monkey wrench into everyones' program.....too bad it didn't last longer. It would've made for a more interesting race as well as a guessing game for strategy.
Now if another brief rain shower emerges in the closing laps then we will be in for an epic conclusion to the season.

This is the most amazing race I have ever seen, I was going crazy for Vettel as he showed Hamilton who was the better wet weather racer. You could say Hamilton was taking it easy before but once Vettel got around him at the end he had to pass Vettel back to win the championship and he couldn't do it. Too bad Glock's gamble didn't pay off but still just an amazing race. Wow. If Hamilton had to win the Championship I wouldn't of had it any other way. I am so sad for Ferrari and Massa but they did everything right and so did STR and Vettel so I can't be too sad. Congrat Hamilton, but I still don't like you very much.Last edited by E30Kaiser; 11-02-2008, 11:58 AM.

That was an awesome race. Massa did everything right but with Glock taking the gamble and not changing to wet tires and eventually sliding in that last turn allowed hamilton to get the championship. I saw it here and they showed Massa at the podium and you could tell it was a hard win to swallow.
How do I spell stress relief?:hitler:

Remember, had glock come in for inters then the race would of ended the same. the real deciding factor was the fuel rig problem on glocks first stop. dropped him from 5th to 16th.
SO close. Im going to make an effort to add up all the missed points this season. I know they did it at the last race, but they also said that hamilton lost 10 pts in spa to massa.... he didnt, he only lost 6. but massa has had two victorys stolen from him in hungary and singapore.

I don't even care about the whole points missed thing, as has been said and I know from my own experience, "Thats racing" and that's all there is to it. Hamilton won by 1 point just like Kimi did last year, he did his job and didn't push it too hard. I respect him for that as I think it shows maturity. I don't like him and once again will be cheering for Ferrari(Constructor Champions that they are) and Vettel next year as I did this year and last year, but I atleast respect Hamilton now.
