Too late to predict for me. But the ferrari's are back in full force, with 1&2. Should be a great race tomorrow, specially with the possible rain, haha.

Wa wa wa. Mclaren team mates docked 5 positions for blocking Heidfeld and Alonso during the final minutes of Q3. Get of the racing line boys, everyone else is!

Kimi is faster than Massa. And if it rains i worry about Massa

The positions docking only makes for a more interesting race - placing typical front runners further back in the field will make for a great start. At best it will be similar to Kimi rocketing from 15th to 8th at Australia last week, at worst a flaming pile of carbon fiber and rubber at turn one - we'll see.

That whole Q3 'traffic schemozzle' which resulted in rolling chicanes for Heidfeld was a bit bizarre. One would think with all the cameras and radio communication available some kind of orders would've been given to stay off the racing line as last minute qualifiers were still on their flying lap. Why this didn't happen is beyond me.....just glad to see nothing worse came of it.

I hope Alonso shuts the fucking door on Hamilton and Kubica and Heidfield leapfrog Trulli and stay spitting distance from Ferrari

I disagree. Very unusual place to go off the track, and he was as suprised as anyone. Sucks he got beached too.

+1. Something had to of broken in the rear suspension. The car snapped far too quickly for it to be a grip issue.

Man, Hamilton did a great job of passing people and making his way up to the front... oh wait. Hopefully this quiets a lot of the comparisons to Schumi and Senna for the timebeing. Lawls at Massa already being completely out of championship contention by the 3rd race of the season.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

Bottom line....Massa just can't handle driving without Traction Control

I'm rooting for Kimi this year

I've been reading up on the post-race commentary about Massa's 'beaching' in Malaysia - it doesn't appear that anything went wrong with the car from what's being reported. I'm inclined to think that is was either: a) tires graining (which is common early on after setting off on new rubber), b) the lack of traction control caught him off guard, or c) the corner where he spin was that quick double apex right hander. If he got just a bit too aggressive on the second curb, that could be enough to upset the balance during mid-corner.

Massa's drama aside, BMW did great today. Since taking over the Sauber team to make it all an in-house effort, they've been steadily getting stronger and stronger - I hope to see them grab a 1st place finish this season. Bravo to Trulli as well for hoisting up Toyota out of the pit of pathetic this season.

massa is better than most people give him credit for. its kinda sad. he's clearly one of the best drivers in the sport. the way he carelessly punted coulthard in melbourne reminded me of schumacher's ruthlessness.

as usual, i'll be rooting for honda this year. theyre looking much improved from last year even if they still suck. :hs: i cant root for BMW after they made such a big deal about heidfeld driving the nurburgring and then not letting him go fast. that shit pissed me off.

                              1. Massa is a terrible driver.
                              2. "The way he carelessly punted Coulthard in Melbourne..." WTF? I'm all for seeing someone run DC off track, but how in the hell is there a correlation between that crap and MS' "ruthlessness"? I fail to see it.
                              3. I'm still trying to get past that last comment, it's like calling Montoya "ruthless" or "successful". That said, he may be a better driver than Massa.
                              4. My main gripe with Massa is that I was never really impresed with him in his Sauber days, and it seems like proof that if you throw a terrible driver in a great, well-sorted car then the outcome is decent at best.
                              5. Honda has improved... their color scheme. j/k
                              6. You can't root for BMW (arguably one of the more successful teams over the last two years) because they wouldn't let Heidfeld (their then star driver) drive the F1.07 balls out on the Nurburgring? Less we forget, this was done in the middle of the 2007 season, if he got hurt then they would have been out a driver. Oh yeah, and driving a F1 car on the 'Ring balls out is...um... dangerous.
                              7. They didn't let him drive fast? ~170 mph through Döttinger Höhe isn't fast? Okey dokey.

Take no offense, but you're comments don't seem to make sense. It could just be me though.

It was nice to see Ferrari back on thier game, minus some driver error.

I hope we dont have to much of Mclaren being faster at one track, Ferrari at another.

I want to see these great drivers have a go at eachother.
