Either one would work for me. I do drive an 06 F150 super crew with a long bed for a DD but as for as cars go, these would be my choices.

there are so many AWESOME American classics out there that I dont think I could narrow it down to just 2 very easily.
But I think one would have to be my MOTHERS 1957 Bel Air
383ci approx.400hp 4 speed- full frame off resto
My mother never got to really drive it- she passed away from cancer about 6 months after it was finally finished- about 15yr. resto
If I had it, it would need to have a lowered suspension, and 20"/22" wheels on it though.
My fathers 1955 would also possibly be the second. This cars restoration is what got me into cars. when I was 13 my father bought the car(an X straight axle gasser car) and we redid the car together. by far not the nicest 55 out there, but there are SO many memories there.
327ci -automatic, but fun as hell to beat on.
both are terrible in the curves, but what a blast in a car that BIG and heavy to accelerate SO FAST!
me and my brother in one of my fathers garages this past summer when I was back visiting.
i cant believe someone said wrangler. A 60th anniversary jeep wrangler is the only american car i have ever or will ever own. I HATED the damn thing and could not wait to get rid of it.
If I HAD to drive an american car it would be either a new GTO or a Shelby cobra
