Crazy build. I didn't catch where it was built, but I figure it's euro. Not too many alfa engines laying around to drop into BMW's i'd think. -

I've read up on some late 80s and early 90s Alfa tuning - that engine looks to be the 3.0L V6. There's plenty of tuning potential with them but they are rather expen$ive. The amount of horsepower (depending on the mods) can be 250+. A lot of work to obtain that kind of power considering what you could get from a S52 swap which is much easier. Still, you have to give the owner credit for doing such a bang-up job and being so detail oriented. Of course he'll get to listen to that sweet Italian V6 happily rev to 7K everytime.

Really cool swap, but kind of pointless. They said the engine makes about 170hp. I lol'd at the part where they glued the cover on the dash and got a vice grip shaped lump.Byron

Love the fab work and details until I saw the motorsport paint stripe....its no long a motorsport anything when the engine is italian. Aside from that one detail, that thing is awesome.1985 BMW 325e
