If you look on the homepage of the M3forum.net website, you'll see a poll for 'Best M3' and to no surprise, look who is on top. :rolleyes

Those ppl really need to step out of the box and invest time and knowledge into more nostalgic cars. I'm not bashing the e46 M3 by any means, but the poll also includes a car that hasn't even been released in the states yet.

Actually, I'd rather have an E36 M3 than an E30. E46 M3's are great, don't let some douchebags ruin a good thing for you.

I think the E46 M3 was the last hope for BMW. Now the only cars they build that I'd own are the Cooper S, the 120i diesel or a 335 coupe. The new M3 is just too much.

Its also a numbers game, bmw made the most m3s in an e46 (so far) so popularity-wise its going to win based just on numbers.
