    318i is lighter then a 325i. It wouldn't lower it quite as much. Also, the cupkit wont fit a 318i as a 318i has smaller diameter strut tubes, and it will not fit struts designed for a 325i on it.

        you can do a search and probably find Rob's 318is when he put the Cup kit on it.

            they are, but the amount of lowering is probably close, just to get an idea.

            If you use any 325-specific spring rates it will ride (most likely) higher with a 4-cylinder.

                          I didn't say it work, I agreed they won't. I said he should look at Rob's car to see how springs drop the lighter car differently. ;) As in other springs....but comparing Cup kit on 318is versus everyone else who has the cup kit gives a good impression of the difference.
