    frozen key tumbler

OK heres the deal it started raining than its starts getting really cold.
I go outside after work to try to unlock my door and its frozen shut.
i go to the gas station to get a deicer and used it and its still frozen shut.
the key turns to the right fine, but to unlock its turning a lilttle bit but doesnt unlock my door, than i tried my hardest to turn the key to unlock it starts to move but the lock is still locked. so than i tried to move it back to the normal postion but it doesnt go all the way back to normal position.

    some one please help?!

get WD-40 with the red nozzle. inset the nozzle and spray a bunch in there. nasty black crap will flow out and keep doing it till its smooth

A couple cups of hot water, plus lock deicer. Poor water on face of lock, and on lower portion of window (directly above lock, some should leak into door area, and onto the lock mechanism itself).

Flush lock with deicer and/or WD-40.

Or just piss on it, until it opens....

The locks in the e30 are really shitty for cold weather. You may have damaged it by forcing the key, be aware of that. Short of heating the lock up there's not much you can do. Once you're in try pulling your door panel and cleaning and lubricating the lock mechanism.
Mine barely work at all anymore, I need to get some new ones!
