Well, looking at http://www.strictlyeta.net/technical...fications.html m3's were about 1K more than 'verts, but much more than IS' and I's. Up to about that 10k gap from a basic I model.
Edit - Damn, in 1991, verts and M3's apparently had the same basic base price. Shit. Our rag tops were pricey!Comment

Why? If it's because they could have gotten an M3 for about the same price, and the M3's are worth so much more now, I don't think they would regret it. For those who do still have their cars since new, especially 91 verts, they obviously chose it for a reason, so maybe they don't care?Comment
