What's so wrong with a Nissan motor? The RB26DETT is a bullet-proof motor, that's almost equivalent to an S50 motor, minus the forced-induction of course. It would be closer in comparison to the euro S50 with its 6 throttle body setup, variable valve timing, etc., just with a ton more hp and torque from the turbos. Comments like this always remind me of...:hitler: (BMW Nazi).

Just my opinion but this choice on the intercooler setup will affect the overall look of the build quite substantially. Shame really.

i disagree. i think it adds to the rawness. I am all about it. Euroboys will hate it. But they're the dredges of the car world.

Just went through the whole build thread at LT, couple of things, that sunroof filler will crack, weld the whole dame thing up, same with the trim recess down the sides ( but not as likely to crack ).

The trim will not crack. The sunroof MIGHT. I will probably add more welds (I doubt i will weld it solid though)

Very good point. Unlike most cars with a FMIC setup, his is waaay out there, making it much more susceptible to damage if he ever bumps into something. I guess the careful planning and engineering didn't figure in the possiblity of someone in front of him hitting their brakes a bit early. Now that the damage to the MT1 is done, and since he seems quite set on this RB-swapzilla, he really should move the FMIC back so that the first point of contact will be the bumper. My $1.02.

well shit, by that logic, you guys should be glad! What if i had the mtech valence in FRONT of the intercooler and drove into something! Then i would ruin the OMG RARE VALENCE. Now i can just replace the dime a dozen intercooler core. :)

i dont have a problem with nissan motors, its not like he went and stuck a honda motor in there. but i think if you buy a german car keep a german motor in it.
