i just finnished swaping a 350 in to my friends 4runner and its open headers. its so loud if you want to tell them somthing you have to shut the truck off. he doesnt need the heater ethier becasue al the heat from the motor just goes inside it is like a sweat box

i found a small block chevy 400 v8 for $500 :up: and a pretty much complete twin turbo setup for 900.
.. talk about power on a budget :D

...and on that note, there is nothing "budget" about putting a 350 into an E30, unless it is totally a ghetto-rigged-deathtrap. So I think most people would have more respect if you actually showed something you produced, and ran your mouth a little less.Joe Funk -- Portland Oregon

i dont care about anyones respect. this thread was made by me to discuss a v8 vs an m50. dollar for dollar the v8 is much less expensive then the m50. the v8 already starts off with more hp stock. and the v8 is a much simpler engine. to modify and to work on in general.

this thread was about a bmw v8 i can get for $108 vs the m50 i already have in my garage. but the bmw v8 got turned down because its not a great motor and its alotof work to mod. so i stuck with the v8 plan but went the simpler route and decided to go with a chevyv8 simply because thats mostly what they work on at my dads shop and i could get some stuff free. one more hater is one more person who will follow my work as its bieng done. so keep the haters coming :up:

If you think that the Chevy V8 is the simpler route, you are delusional. If you think that it is a better route because you can get free stuff, I presume you are also going to have your dad do all of the labor for free too, right? I mean, he IS your dad, he owes you at least that.
