the leaks! when i had my vert, it was new, and still leaked back then.- like i said, mine was new, so i didnt have any squeaks or noises. and yes, the vert does feel slower. and as far as noises, yeah, i do remember feeling like i was camping whenever it rained out.- then it was loud with the rain hitting the top, and i could barely hear the 3 JL 8 " subs i had in the trunk either.-- other than that, i loved it.

Looks like a very clean example. How much are they asking for it?

I love mine, though I've only driven it in the summer so far. Mine doesn't squeak or rattle half as much as my coupe, though.

The only time I liked mine was on really sunny day drives and when the hardtop was bolted down. I'd never own another without the hardtop. I'm MUCH happier with my coupe though.

I miss the shit out of my cabby, though I wouldn't own one without a hard top car to use during the winter and for road trips. I wish I would have sold the 5er rather than her.

If you're worried about looking like an "80's yuppie fag," just drop the car.

The chicks also loved it. My girlfriend said it was so cute that it was like reverse compensation. My car was bad-ass though... because of the m50 swap with what might as well have been streight-through exhaust. Sounded mean.

If you're going to keep your coupe, and you don't mind fixing a few things here and there, I'd say go for it!

I have an IX for winter and two convertible to cruise in the spring/summer its so much fun that you forget about the nagative which in my opinion there are non, convertible are not for everybody, if you worry about the leaks, squeaks, and body tweaks you will never get one, just get it and enjoy it.

Don't let me sway you. I'm in all honesty just not a convertible guy.

I guess I'll just need to drive the shit out of it this summer and decide for myself :)

They say the hardest part of owning a cabrio is telling your parents that you're gay.

One thing that bothers me about verts is the lower bumper, and how the driving lamps look. Is there anyway I could put the regular iS valance on?
