Mine doesn't leak or squeak, (although I do need to adjust my passenger side window as it rattles a bit when it's all the way up and the top is down) and with the windows up at 70 MPH and the top down, I can talk on my cell phone and the person on the other end thinks I'm talking to them from my home and not from on the freeway with the top down it's so quiet.

Very little wind buffeting with the top down and windows up at highway speed.

Below 40 MPH or so, windows down, top down, very little wind buffeting.

If you want quiet, buy a Cadillac.

Top down driving kicks ass, and if you take care of your interior, it won't wear out or fade any faster then a coupe.

I've had both an E30 coupe and a Cabrio and the Cabrio is a way more fun car and chicks dig it.

And yes, you can put an "is" air dam on it. I have one sanded and primered and I'm going to finish it up this Spring and bolt it on.

Other Cabby owner's on the forum have done the same.

BTW, my shock mounts are fine. Of course, I only have 116K on the car though and my rear plastic window is nice and clear.

Again, it depends on how well the car was taken care of by the PO

Also, I believe the front windshield frame has some type of integrated roll bar, or maybe that was my Corvette. I can't remember, but I don't plan on rolling my car anytime soon.

But I've owned both a coupe and cabrio, and I'll take the cabrio any day, even when it's raining as mine doesn't leak a drop.

I bet more coupes with their broken/clogged sunroof drain tubes leak water into the rear floor area have more water leaking problems then Cabby's.

Haha. I should have said what I really meant:

CABBIES are awesome, the only downside is its not an m3.
Hemingway said it best. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games.”

No but really, gay yuppie talk aside, I miss my vert. It handled so well in stock form -- given the right tires.

A cabbies is fun, only problem with mine is the wind at higher speed and squeaks from top in town but that is nothing compared to the fun it provides.
Not slower than a coupe, ask Mike (e30this) My cabbie was faster than his 325i coupe before he wrecked it.
I love cabbies so I'm not the one to ask but if you want one, just go for it. Just keep in mind it is a bit pricier to maintain (top, interior and some parts are specific to that body style)

No, can't be done. Doesn't fit at all...

Well, it is a replica, sorry let me correct that, its a clone, as it has all the E30 M3 components, i am proud of it, plus I own 1 of 150 real MTechII and when I drive it I wear all pink.
